July 17th wind speed

Hi Folks,

While we did setup the umbrellas today, they are left in the ‘down’ position. Please do NOT attempt to open them as the winds are too high and the forecast for today from noon onward is supposed to be even higher. If the forecast is wrong and the wind speeds drops to a safe level, we will return to open them. A bit of caution, if you attempt to open your umbrella and break a supporting rod, you’re charged the repair/replacement costs, not to mention the liability if one flies away and hurts someone, so bear this in mind and remember beach safety please. Our insurance carrier will not allow us to open umbrellas above 16 mph.
