High winds
High Winds already this morning. Remember folks, umbrellas are made for shade and not high winds. We are fully transparent in our policies during ordering in explaining the ‘what ifs’ regarding weather and winds and how it can affect your setup. Our insurance carrier has strict guidelines in place that we must follow to ensure beach safety, not just for you but for everyone else on the beach. Flying umbrellas look funny on videos but they’re very scary when they’re coming at you. Click the link below to see wind speeds as of 6:45 a.m. and the forecast is for it to be even higher as the morning/afternoon progresses. At 20 mph steady or gust to over 25, we are required to remove umbrellas as a whole.
